Mode of Assessment: CA % and Exam %

Decide how much of the final mark comes from continuous assessment (monthly/mid-term tests) and how much from the terminal exam.

Updated 06/10/2026

Admin Settings › Mode of Assesments

For each level (Primary, O-Level, A-Level, Nursery…) set:

  • CA % — the share of the final result taken from continuous assessment (monthly / mid-term uploads). Example: CA 40, Exam 60.
  • Exam % — the share from the terminal examination. CA + Exam must total 100.
  • CA weekly — tick if CA marks are uploaded per week instead of per month.
  • Check Absentees — when ticked, a student marked absent (ABS / blank) in the exam is shown as absent rather than 0.

Click Submit. The table below shows the saved modes; use Delete to remove one.

Schools that only use the terminal exam set CA 0 / Exam 100. Monthly uploads then remain available as tests but do not change the final result.
