FAMNET Schools (schools.famnet.co.tz) is a web-based system for primary, secondary (O-Level and A-Level) and college-level institutions in Tanzania. Everything a school does daily lives in one account:
- Students — registration, classes and streams, profiles, dismissals and graduates.
- Staff — employees, positions, class and subject teachers, HR and payroll.
- Results — teachers upload marks per subject; the system calculates averages, grades, divisions/points, positions and prints reports with your school header and logo.
- Evaluation & attendance — class-teacher remarks, daily/monthly attendance with reports.
- Fees & accounting — fee structure per class, payments with receipts, debts, postponed payments, online fee payments by parents, income/expenditure and financial statements.
- Messaging — SMS and free WhatsApp to parents and staff: results, debts, announcements.
- Timetable & teaching — periods, automatic timetable, lesson reports, syllabus coverage.
- E-learning & events — materials, assignments, online exams, school events.
- Parent portal — parents log in with the student's registration number to see results, payments and to pay fees from their phones.
The system has three consoles: Go to system (daily work), Admin Settings (how your school is configured) and the Parents area.
