1. Upload the syllabus
Teaching › Upload Syllabus (Pakia Silabasi): choose the Subject, the Class level, the type, and paste the Topics — one per line, in teaching order → Save syllabus. Existing syllabi are listed below.
2. Teachers report what they taught
After each timetabled period the subject teacher receives a WhatsApp message asking which topic was taught; they reply with the number/name (or from the Staff app). The system ticks the topic and moves the “next topic” pointer.
3. Coverage dashboard
Teaching › Topic Coverage (Ufuatiliaji wa Mada): subjects tracked, average coverage %, subjects stuck for more than 7 days, and a table per subject/class with coverage, next topic, last taught and status (red rows need attention). Export CSV or Print.
Parents see their child's recently taught topics in the Parents area, so they can follow up at home.
